Build shared tracklists with individual contributor attribution
Invite friends and co-curators to your tracklists. Understand owner vs collaborator permissions, contributing individual liner notes, and managing the team roster.
Mixyt makes collaborative playlist building seamless while preserving individual tastemaker voices.
The Playlist Owner manages metadata, cover art, tags, privacy, and full roster control. Accepted Collaborators can add YouTube tracks, write personal liner notes, and manage their contributed songs.
In your playlist editor (/dashboard/edit/[id]), open the Team tab. Enter the collaborator's username in the Invite Collaborator box and send the invite. It appears as Pending until accepted.
Invited curators will see pending invites at the top of their /dashboard. Clicking Accept unlocks the playlist under their Collaborative Playlists section.
Click 'Contribute Tracks' (or navigate to /playlist/[slug]/collaborate) to add songs with your personal liner notes and Bandcamp purchase links.
Every collaborative track features an explicit curator stamp (e.g., 'Curated by @username') linked to the contributor's public profile.
Owners can remove collaborators at any time in the Team tab. Previously contributed tracks remain on the tracklist unless explicitly removed.
