Curate YouTube videos directly into playlists using the Side Panel
Curate songs while browsing YouTube without switching tabs. Discover how the Manifest V3 Side Panel auto-extracts video metadata, prevents duplicates, and logs liner notes instantly.
Download the extension zip from /settings or /public/mixyt-extension.zip. In Google Chrome, go to chrome://extensions, enable Developer mode, and click Load unpacked to select the unzipped folder.
When viewing any video on YouTube, click the Mixyt icon in your toolbar or open Chrome's native Side Panel and select Mixyt.
The side panel detects the active video ID, title, and channel automatically. Pick your target playlist from the dropdown and save in one click.
Type your immediate listening thoughts and add Bandcamp links into the side panel while the music is playing.
If a song is already present on your selected playlist, the extension warns you with a clear notice, preventing accidental duplicates.
