Rock Revival
The internet has somehow made it easier and more difficult to find the good music. Most of the noise is produced via algorithmic and capitalist pushes. Wading through it is the difficult part. But if you can side-step this, there is a literal world of music waiting to be heard and shared.

Not sure how someone so young got a mastery of this easy listening sound. But damn, it's smooth as hell without being cheesy or disingenuous.
It was difficult to pick one of Kevin's songs but ultimately, San Lucas won. Two chords make the main part of this tune. It's impressive. Cool little video too.
This feels like a solid blend of early 2000s pop punk and Siamese Dream-era Pumpkins with some J Masics guitar prowess. I mean, it's catchy, sweet and rocking all at the same time.
More throwback... a groovy-ass band bringing back that garage rock and psychedelic vibe. Honestly, I'd love to be in this band.
Ok, we're back to some throwback sound. But what a sounds it is. It's clear they have a ton of fun as a band and it shines though in their music.
I didn't know what to make of this when I first heard it. But I knew I loved it instantly. Even his dancing became infectious. And you can't deny the overall infectiousness of the track.
Two brothers from Mexico, now Austin residents with a cool-ass last name keeping rock alive. I mean, this fucking rules.
It's like throwback without being throwback. This could easily be in rotation in any decade since the 70s.
Dublin lads delivering punk-tinged rock in pure form. A slight Smiths vibe underneath with a bass line Peter Hook would appreciate.
Technically, these cats are hip hop. But you can rock out to this. I mean, come on... it's a pretty rocking song.
Feels like a lot of these tracks are throwback. But I guess you can't go wrong with the classic sound. I'm not a huge fan of CB's vocals but it definitely lends itself well to this sound.
Now we're talking some modern rock. It's more on the experimental side but the musicianship is fucking solid.
Sun Club was such as fun band. It's a pretty crazy video but these kids are definitely having fun. I particularly love how their fun and creativity comes through in their music. It might not be everyone's taste but the talent is undeniable.
Just look at these dudes having the best time. Tragically taken too soon from us, but they left a great catalog and this awesome and endearing performance at Paste Studios. Watch the whole thing after this.
Another great performance at Paste Studios. Man, what a falsetto. I fucking love the simplicity of this version. Makes you want to reach for a guitar, no? Well, it should.
Just making the cut, released in 2010, Tyler Jon Tyler presents good ol' rock 'n roll. No frills, no bullshit. Just good fucking music. And a Filipina ripping these great riffs and vocals, hell yea.
Topping this mix off with these British lads. I love the spoken-word coffee house poet approach to rock. I can see how Yard Act would be an acquired taste but if you give them a chance, it's a fun time.
