Chicano Blues
Eddie Angel
This dude is a true artist. Visually and musically, he exudes that artistry. Like a modern day Juan Gabriel. I hope longevity for his career. Only great things to come from Mr. Angel.
Los Yesterdays "Nobody's Clown" (Official Video)
DaptoneRecprds
These vatos got it down. "Souldies" for a new generation. And the titeres in the video... classic. And a cameo from The Altons' Adriana Flores!
triste luna
Chicano Mosh
This isn't soul. But it's damn fun!
Parachute (Official Music Video)
Thee Lakesiders
These folk have the look and the sound locked in. What a great song... the guitar reverb is truly superb and provides that authenticity to the sound. But even though this is recent, they are anything but inauthentic.
What's His Name - Live at The Recordium
Thee Sinseers
Joey Quiñones and his band, Thee Sinseers, delivering straight from the heart. Fucking hell, these cats are bad.
Don't Tell Me
Joey Quinones
Multi-instrumentalist and a source of pure delight, Joey Quiñones exudes soul from every pore. It's almost unfair how some people have so much talent. But more than that, it's a true gift for the rest of us.
The Altons "Del Cielo Te Cuido" (Official Music Video)
The Altons
And here we have The Altons, with Bryan Ponce and Adriana Flores creating sweet harmonies and soulful slow dance jams. Ponce is a bad ass, man. I mean, the band is great but his guitar and unique voice really make them memorable.
